One of the most iconic music videos of all time is Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Games” staring then-super-model Helena Christensen and shot by none other than legendary fashion and beauty photographer Herb Ritts. The video became my inspiration for a recent photo shoot.
For the shoot, I wanted to attempt my hand in borrowing generously from Mr. Ritts’ near-perfect creation over 20 years ago. The twist I added was casting models with a little edge to them to bring the homage into contemporary times, and the tattooed Bryden Jenkins (Wilhelmina LA) and Blake Kneisley (Next LA) were the perfect match for this shoot and for each other.
